1.8 inch 160GB Trek external HDD

shenyl
I have bought an earlier version of the 1.8" 160 GB Trek drive - smaller than a 2.5" HDD.

But I am unable to use it for Booting - the BIOS do not recognize the USB HDD as a boot media.

I bought a latest Trek external USB HDD 1.8" 160 Trek drive - much smaller - 2.4 inch width, 3 inch length and 0.5inch thick.

Good for backup use, but again cannot be use for Booting.

Anyone have use this Trek 1.8 inch external USB HDD, and manage to use it for booting any OS?

Help and advice are appreciated.

With regards
