Can anybody suggest a tool for partitioning a pendrive? I mean, i have a 4 GB pen drive and i want to create two partitions each of 2 GB(considering the ideal condition).

Apparently you can do it... but Windows causes big problems. This is written about XP/Vista. I suppose Windows 7 might fix this, but I wouldn't bet on it. Don't expect the second partition to accessible on any Windows machine you don't have Admin access to (you have to change the driver being used).

Linux (in typical Linux fashion) apparently treats the drive like any other and just gets on with it so no problems there though.
