Heavy rains in southern and southeastern Brazil

On Monday was the state of Santa Catarina, Sao Paulo on Tuesday, and yesterday (Wednesday) a heavy rain just one hour caused havoc in the state capital, Curitiba.
But the most affected was the city Guaraciaba in the western state of Santa Catarina. The meteorologists are still studying, but it is believed that a tornado has been reached by Argentina and caused the destruction in this town where four people died.

According to weather all these disastrous above average rainfall are due to El Niño, which is back, but with less intensity than that recorded in 1997. This weather phenomenon occurs due to abnormally high water temperatures in the Pacific Ocean, which causes significant changes in global climate. Th meteorologist Leandro Puchalski, from Central Meteorological RBS said that "in the south, the phenomenon increases the volume of precipitation, especially in late spring and early summer. This means that in October, November and December will also be rainy."
