Maybe quickdrivers.com? I think if it's tech-related you should have a nice categorized tabbed nav system.
why not driversoftware.com? at least include one word in the domain,i think 
it really depends on what's available. I would say focus on designing your site first, then worry about purchasing a domain name.

Next thing is that probably You'll use domain name in logo or somewhere on the top in Your design.
For design itself ... go to templatemonster/deviantart and look for nice projects and learn something
