Has anyone seen NotePad.com. It is a website that promotes hardcore web design using notepad. And it has some downloadable tools too. And these are free. I like the mascot of the website. It is Notepad with a face

Notepad is small but great and classic program that we always overlook, if you learn to use it you will found that it's flexibility and much more flexible than any others you've ever used.

AJAX works from a webserver, doesn't it. Those tools are for the desktop. I would prefer to use them offlline. Saves on internet connection.

Internet connections are cheap these days throughout the world. I'd be more worried about the administrators who can't even define an A-record for the www subdomain. Apparently, the people working on it aren't particularly technically literate
Regardless, all of the tools on there may have been good back about around the time of Windows 95, but now they're just obsolete and poor quality.
