I downloaded a trial version of emltohtml from bitdaddy. It is an application for converting *.eml files to *.html.
The last software I downloaded was ... erm, Opera 10 Beta 3? Yes, I guess that's what it was.
The last application I downloaded was uTorrent (yes, the software) and the current thing I am downloading is some or the other file with uTorrent.
I recently downloaded PopCap's Peggle World of Warcraft Edition. It's a free application but it is just a 10-level game. The commercial version has much more challenges to offer.

Auslogics Task Manager
The original windows task manager sucks, so I had been using Process Explorer.
But I wanted to see if there were any other alternatives out there.
Process Explorer is stil the best, but Auslogics Task manager has a better looking interface, easir for first timers to use.
I hope there are better task manager out there and Microsoft decides to install one of these better free task managers by default !!

The last one i downloaded was Wireshark. Its a packet sniffer. I use it to monitor the traffic of my machine.

The last application I downloaded was Q-Dir, which is a Windows Explorer replacement. I move files around a lot so it's very handy having the extra panes.

Revo Uninstaller for windows I think. Very good uninstaller software.

Among the free antivirus softwares, I like this the best.
The most popular three free ones are
1) AVG antivirus from Grisoft
2) Avira antivir antivirus
3) Avast antivirus
Of course there are more, even the open source clamwin antivirus, but these are the ones which I have tried
I like the voice of avast which says that database has been updated and virus has been detected

Sound's pretty weird, but it's a very useful stand-alone application to used along with photoshop or other painting tools. The main purpose of this little tool is to stabilize our hand-movement when painting so that we could produce smoother stroke. Try it here :

I recently downloaded Itunes 9 because i did a clean install of Windows 7...
I use free FTP software but somebody told me about the CoffeeCup Direct FTP. Its main feature is the ability to directly edit files on the server. I am trying it out now. Perhaps it can prove useful.
XAMPP Control Panel, very usefull!
