Is it because a lot of Indians live there and they bring back that affiliation to Indians living in India? or does everyone love a winner adn hence follows the team.
Why is Manchester United popular amongst Indians?
I think that probably MU is the best team for marketing.
In many countries you wwill find MU supporters even if they haven't been once in Manchester in their life.
I don't think it is linked to results because I think that other teams either in Italy or Spain had better results.
British are good for the marketing but their national team is at a rather low level.

Hey, I have never been to Manchester but I'm fan of Man United whole my life... it's not about being from Manchester or England... it's about the game and the players that play the game, how they are playing it... at least that is why I am fan Of Manchester United... and the whole Premiership..... It's just that the game in the English League is really nice to watch and I enjoy each match.
