Airsoft questions

I just have a few questions about airsoft (i dont even have a gun yet) but i was wondering if any of you could answer them.

1. how old do you have to be to buy your own airsoft gun?

2. What dose it feel like to get hit with a pellet from say... 10' on the leg on bare skin?

3. whats a good cheap gun to start with (under $25 if possible)

I don't think you legally have to be any age, but walmart and similar will probably not sell you one unless you are 18. Airsoft pellets don't do any lasting damage (unless you are hit in the eye) but they can sting. I would recommend you cover all of your skin somehow. Jeans and a hoodie are a good way to start. If you want to get over the initial fear, have somebody shoot you from close up in the chest. If you can live with that, you will be fine. As for your price range, I would go a little above it ($30-40) if you want to get a decent gun that won't break on you. Anything walmart sells is decent for a beginner, and you have the added benefit of being able to take it back if it breaks.
