coding a background like this site

this site mostly uses png. i have been trying hard to copy the way the background and the images/text are placed. the coding seems complicated to me. i just couldn't get it right.

could anyone help me code a layout that is similar to this if not the same. thanx so much for any help.

Well it's a fixed background with some .png's (for the transparency) for every item (like a Contentarea, Upcoming Event,... those png's). Smile

yes exactly. it doesnt look complicated but when i try to put the background and the foreground.... i do NOT get the desired effect. the background is pretty complicated.

why dont u try and help with me with this please. thanx

I'll be more then happy to check out the source code and help you, but I will not code the entire thing for you, I don't think that anybody here will

yeah i know. nobody would. i was just hoping for someone who would shade light on how to do it...
