HELP! iFrames opening in new window.

I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out my problem. I have links in an iFrame which are suppose to target the htlm links onto the iFrame on the right of these hyperlinks, a three level navigation is what I am going for. All of this is done on the index page , but in Firefox and IE new windows are opening up rather than loading the iFrames on the target page. Here is the example : www.since83.net (works fine in Chrome and Safari) .

I don't know if you can use the target to refer to the id of the iframe. Add the attribute name="subNav" to the iframe and it will work.

I am not sure 100% but how I know you can not use target="subNav" for opening page in some other iframe. Maybe this work with frameset but with iframe Rolling Eyes

I think for your needs JavaScript is better solution then iframe. Think about it.

target="subNav" should work fine. No need for javascript here.

I am sugest JS instead of iframe because JS is better solution for SEO. Maybe I am wrong, but I am reading somewhere how is harder to include site and their content with frames in search engine then sites without it.
