Flying Saucers

I've been reading a lot about the possibility of many UFOs reports to be related to human build flying saucers, most of them would be secret developments of many governments, including USA.

People speculate too much on this subject and the internet may be misleading, but some people seem to have better sources of information.

Does anybody know of any (more reliable) starting point for such a research?

I appreciate if you could post any good link on that.

This is what the USA has managed to develop so far. There's talk of making a surveillance drone using that technology. The advantage it has over helicopter-like designs is that it can survive bumping against other objects without crashing, so it could be used in urban environments and forests.

I wouldn't be surprised if somebody proves US is testing a type of flying saucer as it was stated by an american fellow (in a Discovery Channel documentary) who claimed to have worked for the US Air Force...

we have the technology....believe me....

but the us gov. is never going to let us know anything...they think we cant handle it... i believe most of us on earth are smarter than those in office.... besides we always find out somehow

Yes, we do. We've been working on it since the 50's. But, it never worked very well, and even when it did work, the helicopter replaced it as a much more capable and practical vehicle.

Really, what could a flying saucer do that a helicopter couldn't do better?

Kidding aside, sure the US military is working on technology that would boggle the average persons mind, I do not doubt that. And like Ocalhoun pointed out they have been working on hover craft and magnetic propulsion since the 1950's. Probloem is the cost of production, and ease of mass production. It just isn't effective if it takes 10 years and billions per unit to produce (unless it's a Nimitz class Aircraft Carrier).

Asking for a reliable link is just a crazy request, because the problem with any of this top secret work being done by the government is that there is so much mis information, and so many wacko's writing about it, that it is just impossible to determine what is truth and what is BS. So much that is written is just so out there, that I'd be embarassed to provide an links as I'd look like a nut job Cool

Like one time I read that the Nazi's had a time machine in 1938.....which, if true, begs the question...why didn't Hitler go ahead in time and figure out all the dumbass mistakes he made that lost him the war Rolling Eyes

Or how about space travle kooks that say the Nazi's had a base on the dark side of the moon back in 1940 Surprised

Or the folks that claim we never ever landed on the moon.....which I personally, through the VA Tech observatory telescope have seen the flag, landing base, and lunar rover (car) on the moon, in 1882 during an astronomy class....which for me begs the question....how the hell did that get there if we never landed on the moon? Wink

With all this crap out there, and your asking for a reliable link....I'm at a loss to give one Laughing

I am sure there must be some life in Space. Otherwise, as someone said "it would be a waste of space"!

Maybe some goverments are hiding something, maybe not. If they are - thats good! Imagine, when for example US president says "We have UFO here!" It could cause worldwide panic. Not all people are like us. Most of people on the World would just go nuts!
