Political cross-overs

raaeft1
Haryana, a state in India, is well-known for political hobnobbing and crossovers from one party to the other. Now that Assembly polls are round the corner, many political leaders and workers who might have played a key role in the opposition parties to which they belong, are making a beeline to the residence of the leader of the ruling party seeking admission in that party in the hope that they would get the ticket to contest the polls. What is even more surprising is that these leaders now deny having ever criticized the ruling party in the media.
However, insiders say that these leaders who have made it a penchant to switch over parties just before elections may not be accomodated so far as tickets are concerned.

Well, if the person is a moderate member of their party, their views probably aren't far away from the moderates of the opposition party. Switching between them isn't a big deal if they are borderline to begin with.

They shouldn't try to deny things they've publicly done in the past though.

Even the Party does not take their dissidence seriously. If the candidates are strong they take them.
