Multiple boot

I'd like to install windows 7 next to my existing windows xp system. How can achieve this? What do I have to install? I don't want to start from scratch and want to keep my existing xp system.

You can either create a partition for Windows 7 or use a separate hard drive. Check out http://apcmag.com/how_to_dual_boot_windows_xp_and_windows_7_xp_installed_first.htm
It explains everything you need to do.
