The NFL... How far do you think your team will go and why?

NFL Football is right around the corner. Where do you think your team will be come January and why?
I'll kick it off with my team, the Buffalo Bills. I think they have a good chance of making it to the playoffs this year for a few reasons. One off course is the recent edition of Terrell Owens and the depth at the corner position now that is going to make their defense about 10% better. Some key defensive players are coming off injuries and the offense is going back to the famous K-Gun once again. Expect a run and shoot in every game, kind of like the 90’s Bills. This is what football is all about, Patriots VS Bills should, 1st game, should be an exciting one to watch.

I think it will be the Patriots and Chargers in the AFC -- and the Giants and the Eagles in the NFC Championship.

Chargers vs Giants in the Super Bowl -- with the Chargers winning it all!

PS - I am a Giants fan...
apptastic
i am a panthers fan, but i am scared now after losing our DT..... our run stopping ability looked horrible last night...giants looked strong

My team is the Kansas City Chiefs. We have a first year General manager Scott Pioli, a first year head coach Tod Haley, and new to us Quarterback - Matt Cassel, WRs Amani Toomer and Bobby Engram. Last year we were 2-14. I'll be happy with 9-7 record, remember the AFC West is week. Denver will struggle, the raiders will flounder again and the Chargers, unfortunately will have a very good year in 2009. We probably won't make the playoffs. It will bee interesting to review this in 2 months.

I am a Chargers fan. I see a lot of talent and potential, but I am a little concerned about
the status of both the offensive and defensive lines. And all the talent at RB and QB and
receiver and linebacker won't matter if the lines suck it up. Lucky for the Chargers, they are
playing in the AFC West, which doesn't look too strong right now. Denver has a new coach,
system and QB. They could surprise, but I think their defense is their weak point. KC did
get a new QB that looks good, but they lost a great TE and I'm not 100% sure if LJ is going
to be what he once was. The Raiders....ahhh yes, the Raiders. Kind of the joke of the NFL
in my opinion.....coaches fighting each other and all. Of course, the thing about the NFL that
really keeps people interested is that you just never know. Every team has a chance to
be the 'surprise team of the year'. It seems like there is one of those teams every year that
jumps from really bad to really good (like Miami and Atlanta last year). So predictions, well
fun, don't mean a lot. How will the Patriots do with Tom Brady back? The Steelers look strong
again. Will the Giants strong D Line carry them again? Will the subtraction of 'distraction' (TO)
help the Cowboys? Can the Cardinals have another dream season in which their great receivers
and QB carry a substandard running game? A lot of questions out there, and I can't wait for the
season to start to answer some of them.

I am a Cowboys fan...I think this is our rebuilding season it will build up to a great season later on. I think we will make it to the playoffs tho maybe lose in the 2nd round. I think that it will be the and dont go crazy over this but yes the 49ers vs the Giants in the Super Bowl.

Ummm....not to rain on your parade or anything, but that WILL NOT happen! See, the 49ers and
the Giants are BOTH in the NFC.....and the Super Bowl is the WINNER of the NFC against the winner
of the AFC. So, only ONE of the teams you picked (49ers and Giants) can be in the Super Bowl.
It is possible (though not likely) that the 49ers and Giants could play in the NFC championship for
the right to go to the Super Bowl, but that is it.
