I red an interesting article on "cloud computing: and G.ho.st which is pronounced ghost. They are at http://g.ho.st/main.jsp.

Cloud computing is really about the separation of data from physical storage. I consider these web based OS's to be rubbish. If you want data separation try something like Google apps for small businesses. We use it at work and it works pretty well. I know you can sync your data between different computers in Firefox. I think that would cover 99% of most users needs.
