Redirecting but keeping domain URL?

Diablosblizz
I want to redirect a subdomain to my home computer, but I want to keep the URL as my domain. For example:

I'd like google.ca/theredirect/ to redirect to MYIP/ while keeping google.ca/theredirect/ in the URL bar.

Also, is it possible to have pages redirect to my IP too? Example:

google.ca/theredirect/bleh.php would redirect to MYIP/bleh.php but keeping google.ca/theredirect/bleh.php in the URL bar?

Thanks!

Take a look at .htaccess. It can sort of be done. You won't be able to have it always be the url, if you click a link while on that it will go off of the url. But I think I've done it where it will show the url you were looking for, and a different page.

You can, but then all traffic has to pass the "google.ca" server, because you're hiding the actual location of the data from the browser. Because of that, I don't think .htaccess can do it. You can just load the page using PHP, and then output it to the browser.

Isn't that the whole point of DNS servers? Confused

You can't do this unless you have control over the DNS records for the google.ca domain. In the most case you don't (because you do not own the domain).

However, you can do this if you control the DNS server the users are using (set the records) or the local machine they are using (edit the hosts file)
