Hi guys i have always liked phpbb2 and not liked phpbb3 much mainly because of its complicated user interface and many of my users said that they were finding it very difficult to cope up with phpbb3...!!
So what i would like to ask you now is that.. Will i be able to install a stable package of phpbb2 now and run it as a forum...?? Please see that many established sites are still running phpbb2 version and face no problems..!! I think Frihost is still using phpbb2..!!
So if it is possible where can i get a stable phpbb2 download and what all mods should i install so as to prevent getting spammers which is a major problem i am facing even with phpbb3..!!
Also one another thing..!! I could read the following in www.phpbb.com
