I would suggest the following songs:
I'm Alive - Disturbed
Big City Life - Mattafix
An Audience With The Devil - Hilltop Hoods
Bird Of Feather - Cog
The Diary Of Jane - Breaking Benjamin
None of the above. Although I can suggest some other songs which does not include "death metal" and "heavy metal" genre.

Personally, I'd go for some Electro/Techno/Trance, or some Type of harsh Metal , but for someone else:

Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven
Linkin Park - In The End
Those three songs I usually listen to when I'm depressed or feeling low. They always seem to cheer me up.
