Nameservers Frihost

So I bought a domain from godaddy.com I set nameservers to point at ns1.afraid.org ns2.afraid.org ns3.afraid.org ns4.afraid.org

within afraid.org I added a new domain... "thedeparted.us" I added an "A" record to this IP "64.92.163.26"

in directadmin I created thedeparted.us When I go to the url it is giving me a timeout.. what's going on.

Maybe you simply get to wait. It seems to be fine for me, at least a website is showing up.

Yea, how long do frihost's dns servers take to propagate or whatever.... usually it's just an hour Sad

Am I doing this right? Is this showing my ISP is blocking outgoing connections to port 25? I have been unable to send mail via frih.net server since I don't know when, and it's just now becoming a nuescance... I can log in to the web based email program and send it easily.


Edit: I can receive mail.

That indeed could be your ISP blocking that port.
