Does frihost host sites on a Linux PHP or a Windows asp server?

Also where can I find tools/tutorials for the appropriate server type?

I am intending to learn how to use a relational database management system (probably MySQL) for dynamically creating webpages. I have no idea how to do this as of yet but intend to have a functioning website in the next few weeks (just a basic one, it'll get more complicated as I learn).

Basically I need Help... Any would be appreciated but my main question remains...

Maybe check this website out: http://www.php-mysql-tutorial.com/ . It used to be a straightforward long example of php/mysql website, however it changed into a lot of articles. Still, I guess it is a good site to learn from. Very Happy

Not that I know of. ASP (Active Server Pages) is a Micro$oft slave project and (as far as I know) associated with IIS.

I have been know to be wrong when dealing with Micro$oft products however ... at least that's what they claim. Razz

ya that is a good development area. I checked it out and they have a list of sites running the service as well. But i guess, the integration is best kept as it is when we are on a shared host.

Sun Microsystems I believe has a module (Chilisoft ASP), its pretty much the same by all the functions that you need to do anything useful dont really work. So ya.
