Not me. Chris Cornell was better in Soundgarden and I have never cared for rage.

i think soundgarden was worse, but imo rage wasnt that good, thats true.
the sound is really awesome put together.

They're pretty good, I mean, I like some of their non-mainstream songs. Nothing I got too hyped up about though.
They're ok, RAGE was better.

If it wasn't for Soundgarden and Rage, there would be no Audioslave to be overplayed.
Soundgarden really brought the grunge scene to a new level... a darker, heavier one. Rage brought bass into the mix. Never before was a bass guitarist featured more than the guitar. In fact, Rage has inspired many bands this way- Red Hot Chili Peppers would not sound like they do now if it wasn't for them. So before you go saying some prissy pop band was better than it's origins, check yourself and listen to the older stuff more in depth.

I absolutely agree.Their song Like a Stone makes me feel worse whenever I listen cuoz mf my last break up from her..Chris Cornell reaaly doing a good job in AS I think..

Chris Cornell was my favorite singer loved him then love him now
Audioslave is good. Shows that with a little bit of melody
the stupid butt grunge can actually become listenable.
Although, I still think the number of sound layers
all these guys have is too small for this music
to be too outstanding. No Doubt is the only band out
there that can make a recognizable sound with a couple
of acoustic guitars.

Well, Audioslave is good but not any better than RATM. Chris Cornell's voice is still one of a kind. The same old Cornell at its very best. But not good enough to surpass the rapping prowess that Zach Dela Rocha have.

I would rather have soundgarden or rage....then audioslave
But having both bands at the same time... was so much better
The new audioslave cd is boring. It's not bad, it's just boring.
However, audioslave are still a better listen then Linkin park (suck.) or good charlotte. Simple plan are crap too.
