I think the reloaded version is by all means better than the v5.5.

don't bother with 5.5 - its old and doesn thave many features
latest version now is nero 7 premium - theres a 30 day trial version u can download
7 includes a movie editor, dvd player, backup app, cd/dvd burner, photo viewer/editer, media player and more
for all that, the price is quite good
if u don't want to pay, there a quite good freeware cd burner called
CDBurnerXP Pro www.cdburnerxp.se
got the same functions as 5.5 xcept for lack of iso ripping - u can still burn iso images though

Because it is a well known program, older nero versions are still available at Oldversion.com

You can download a trial of 7 off the nero site - much better than 5
I use the trial version. Once the 30 days runs out, you can just turn back your omputer clock and the trial will just go on and on and on...
i have nero v7 premium its great.
When the trial runs out you can either turn you clock back (kinda stupid), buy it, or enter a "legal" serial key
