I am surprised, no one created this thread. Anyways the World Champions Australia were out in the first stage itself. And the previous world champions (2007) are taking on England today. What do you think. Will India win to maintain its challenge for the Cup second time??
T20 World Cup 2009
India has been knocked out of the World Cup by England
SL and SA are favourites for final. An enticing clash of cultures and styles between the innovative and intelligent Sri Lankans and the rigorously drilled South Africans is more likely.

20-20 is notoriously unpredictable.... and with South Africa losing to Pakistan.... who lost horribly to England in the early stages.... the final is Sri Lanka v Pakistan...
The wise money has to be on Sri Lanka.... but at the end of the day, if Afridi is Afridi it could just be Pakistan's final.
Being an England fan, my interest has turned to the Women's championship....
Having been set an imposing 164 to beat Australia, they confidently knocked off that total with three balls and eight wickets in hand.... and tomorrow, as a warmup for the men's final, England take on New Zealand.... Go girls !!

good for their cricket in such times

i did not follow mutch of t-20 2009 world cup because
1) the timing was odd
2) India did not perform that well
but some of the matches were awesome.
Especially the innings of Gayle and Dilshan were the highlights of the event.
