Solstice by Ulises Silva

Magion
Imagine you get a phone call. You pick it up and a young female voice states "What would you do if you knew the world will end next week?" Everybody around the world got the same call at the same time but in their own language.
The message appears on walls and on televisions and everywhere else.
In this world quite similar to ours, there exist Scribes, who can write things into beings. THey have the power to write events to real life. Of course when there comes power, there comes responsibilities. Above the scribes, there exist Editors, basicly Assasins. They keep the scribes in check to make sure they are not abusing their powers in any way.
One particular scribe decides it is time to end the world. Io and her trusty companion Yuniko is sent in a dangerous race against time to save the world while dealing with escalated violence so intense martial law was declared and ineffective and while dealing with paranormal events that plagues the world.
While the theme is a cliche, the characters are quite unique. The story line and ending is not what you may expect. its a great read for anime style action.

I would love to read this one, just based on what you have said on the short synopsis.
