hi every one,
just got back from my muscat trip, and i was just browsing yesterday and came across this site called who sucks, and here i saw these strange flavors of ice cream. has anyone ever heard or even tasted one of these flavors. as for me this is the first time i ever heard of these kind of ice creams.

also i think that while checking out those horrible flavors you people should check out the
Most Popular Posts, they are really amazing. I didn't read through all of them but those certainly are some strange flavors. Some of the flavors sound good but not if they were in ice cream. On the other hand, some of those flavors seem like things I wouldn't even want to come close to eating.
Wasabi Ice Cream! Wow; I would have never guessed someone would have put those two flavours together! Interesting... Somehow I don't know if I would like it. But I would certainly try it 
Urgh! Some of them are definitely not my taste, don't think I'd even try them!

Gross! Think I would be able to deal with wasabi icecream as part of a meal rather than a desert, the red wine, and flower-based icecreams also sound sort of edible 
, the curry based icecream sounds interesting, may be good to have it as part of a curry meal instead of kurd, ditto the tomato, beet, carrot and other vegetable-based sweet type icecreams that may be a nice accompaniment to a curry or savoury meal, the pineapple shrimp icecream sounds OK, ditto the bacon icecream, lox icecream should be interesting, the sauerkraut one could also be an interesting side-dish for a main course. Majority though are stomach-churning stuff. What's wrong with you people? Don't diss it if you haven't tried it.

Just reading the descriptions of some of those flavors was more information than I needed. Reading that page entirely should be mandatory at every meeting of "Over-Eaters Anonymous".

Wow. A lot of these are ice cream made by Japanese. they sure have a unique taste, still these don't sound too bad to me. Some of these do sound nasty I do admit, but you can't judge food that way.
I love trying new foods, so I would have a blast tasting all of these flavors.

Looks as though they missed one ice cream in the list? Cannibal Ice Cream or should we call it Cannibal Delight Have a feeling you would rather have that on the list than any of the others that must be offensive. Yuck! Glad I am living where I am living. See Bondings, I can be nice! Wow... some of those I'd consider trying(See: sweet potato ice cream), but others... just, wow. Especially Viagra flavored.
...Does Viagra even taste like anything?
On second thought, don't answer that. Wait, no, answer it. Gah, I can't decide if I want to know.

Coca Cola is cocaine flavored, and it's still legal because the active ingredient is not in it (anymore).
Presumably, you could do the same thing with Viagra ice cream, including the flavor of the pill without the active drug ingredient(s).It's like jellybeans but with ice cream!

I don't really think it was cocaine flavored, but it was certainly made out of the coca leaf. If I remember (I wasn't alive at the time, but I read it somewhere) you could actually get high from it (Coca Cola) if you took the right combination of Aspirin with the soft drink.
*Note - The Coca Cola company changed the recipe many years ago...so don't even bother to try...they no longer use anything from the coca plant.Raw Horseflesh Ice-Cream sounds like one of the worst on that list by far, somehow it don't sound to appetizing. Raw and Flesh in Ice-Cream is not a good idea.
Some of them wouldn't be to bad, Chunky Bacon Ice-Cream doesn't sound all that bad but then I like bacon.

Oops ... no wonder Ocalhoun was talking about cannibalism. Have to agree, that is gross. I missed it when I read the list the first time.I've tried some sort of ice cream from a Japanese restaurant before. I'm not sure what it was, but it tasted like a crossover of Sushi and Fish... it was disgusting. Right away I got sick and was nauseous and had to go to the bathroom.

I will now think twice before I buy anything at the oriental market unless it has some English on it. Most of these containers look just like normal ice cream.
I wouldn't buy any of em... well I take that back. It would make a good prank on someone I think Wow, I think those icecreams sounds really grose, but I actually do think that some of them might be good after all (isn't it often that way with things?). But still: squid ice cream - does not sound very delicious to me.
do you think that ice cream flavors are determined solely based on how it tastes? i mean, squid ice cream may look like a squid or resmeble a squid not necessarily taste like a squid. Then again, i've never heard of anyone eating squid ice cream before, regardless of taste or looks
Ah, I didn't think of that. Good point...
But then again, the page stated that the icecream was "squid flavored" The ice cream flavours don't need to taste good, they only need to attract every second curious customer to just try one and they've made a profit already. And as has been already mentioned, half of them probably don't even taste like their namesake ... I mean, to what extent do the majority of strawberry ice creams actually taste like strawberry?
Chicken Fried Steak Ice Cream sounds pretty good, though.

Once (about 20 years ago), I visited Helsinki, Finland on a business trip, and one even my colleagues and I ate out in a Russian restaurant.
One of the dishes we were treated to that evening was Herring Ice Cream...
I don't know that I'd want to try it regularly... (or even again!!) but it wasn't too bad....

ROFL, Those are some freaky flavors, so far the funniest I've seen is Garlic-flavored Dracula Ice Cream.
I would definitely try the wasabi ice cream. I had green chile pepper ice cream in New Mexico, and the spicy hot flavor of the chiles combined with sweetness and creaminess was surprisingly good.
