Hi all,

My website is affected by some Malicious software. Some additional javascript and iFrame tags automatically inserted in Files starting with index (index.htm, index.html, index.php). I tried to manually remove the unwanted codes from these files. but it happens again n again.

Now google is giving warning messege

"This site may harm your computer." while indexing.

I don't wish to loose my data. Can anybody help me to clear this problem without resetting my hosting account.

Sad

1st: contact your hosting company...
2nd change your password...
3rd edit those files and removed the malicious code
4th create a google account and there request them to check your site for malicious code (onde they confirm that the code is no longer there they will remove the warning)
Aredon
1.) Change your password.
2.) Copy everything from your FTP server.
3.) Edit the files locally and remove the script.
4.) Delete everything on your FTP server.
5.) Place the fixed files back where they belong.

If you are unable to delete files from your FTP server it's possible that their permissions were changed (which could reflect a server vulnerability). Something similar happened to frihost server 2 a while back.
