I believe he means forums like these at Frihost, Kash. In that case, just head over to phpBB download a copy and upload it onto your host! If you have FriHost as your hosting account, you can use the url below for a tutorial on how to install phpBB.

yea, well i dont know to much php, but getting the hang of it, i know how to install the database and stuff, but i have no idea how to setup smf with a ftp, is there a tut for that?

Well you don't have to do much if you have Fantastico in your cpanel. It would be a 3 click installation which would do the whole thing. Even if not its pretty easy to install Free forum scripts like SMF, phpBB or myBB. All you have to do is first make a database for your forum from your cpanel and upload all files provide by the forum site. and then just follow instructions which you will have in read me file. You will find it quite easy.
I use PHPbb because it is easy to install, now that is is verson 3.X.X it has alot of stuff 2.0 doesn't have. I do recommend PHPbb

yea ive tred phpbb but its hard to get the hang of, well i figured out how to add SMF so im good and thanks for the suggestions.
