After my trip to England, I optimized some of my photographs.
Could you please give me some feedback?

I like that clock tower one. It looks great. Optimized one has better colors.
The colors in the optimized version are definitely better. I also like how you shot against the cloud background. I'd like to see the environment of the shot a little more interesting. How to make this different from other images of Big Ben (I assume it's big ben? never been to England). Also, I'm seeing a little loop or something in the lower right side of the image.
Oh, I might also like a little more shadow detail.
It is interesting what you did with the lighthouse. When you photographed the image, did you have in mind to do to it what you did? I only ask because I want to know what you were thinking when you clicked the shutter.
I might take the lighthouse off center a bit, though. Right now, it looks like you caught it in your crosshairs and fired away. I'd like to see a little more behind the subject's placement in the frame.
You definitely have some good things about your images, don't get me wrong. You have great color in that top one and the moodiness of the bottom one is quite interesting.
Take care and keep photographing!
Your optimization of the first image is very nice. It really brings out the colors and makes it a better overall image. I'm very interested in what you did with the second image. The clouds in the second image make it seem like you would be unable to get such a sharp images when it is edited.
The clock tower looks very good in the optimized photo. The lighthouse lost all its color, which does not seem ideal. Also I'm curious why the blurred area. The treatment of the water is good and looks realistic. Was there a deliberate choice to optimize the water only?

Thanks for your Feedback!
Yeah it's Big Ben.
The small loop on the right side... I also recognized it. But I don't know what it is.
I wanted to concentrate especially on the tower and not the hole building, it would get a terrible format. So I decided to shoot the tower, with the coulds. I think it was quite a lucky coincidence.
About the lighthouse:
I were standig on cliffs (about 100m) and directly below were the lighthouse. So I took it a little bit sidewards. Taking more background wasn't so easy. ^^ But thanks, I will consider your feedback!

I didn't want to optimize the photo. I tried to do, but because of the coulds it didn't really look great. So I decided to do different. I wanted to make it look like a painting. I only took out the colors, ran a photoshopfilter, and colored it yellow. That's it. But I'm not satisfied at all. I think it looks halb realistic, half painting, so I have to change something... possibly I will show you another version soon.
So thank you both for the feedback!
The clock tower picture looks great! Nice job!
Well ... i prefeer this clock picture with neutral colors ... maybe just a little croping, sharpening and levels ...
Made something like this in few secoonds ... (it's 3:2 ratio like in DSLR, and the clock itself is almost in one strong point)
Maybe I'm just oldshool but I don;t like unnatural colors I think
The only unnatural colors which I like is HDR ... but good made HDR
Wow, the first one is gorgeous! The second is interesting, too, but the first definitely makes a better vacation shot. =)
I like the first shot, the retouched one has better contrast, but a bit too much in my opinion. The cloud became too bright.
For the second shot, I think it's over elaborated, particularly the shadowing. But good work nonetheless
St. Stephens Tower looks great... Very rare you get a blue sky in London HAHA
thank you both!
Yeah, we had a quite good weather in London.
Their very nice shots, I would prefer a little more colour in both and better lighting.
Overall their nicely edited/modified shots..well done
Thanks for your advise! I'm going to consider it in my following work!
2 beautiful images and I love the way you edited them. The first one is really nice, love the vibrant colours, i agree with the first poster that a lil more shadow detail would be better. Maybe either with fill light in lightroom or play around the shadow/highlight section in photoshop.
The second image is beautiful, loved how you edited it, gave it a really mysterious look that tells a story. Only thing its a lil too centered, they usually say use the rule of the thirds for the composition where you would have a little more sky up top or more water to either the right or left of the image.
Cheers! and keep up the great work!
I have new work
Please, give me some feedback!

I know, the last one is not perfect, but I thoght, post it, it's a nice idea, why don't make it public...
cheers,
stephan
p.s. i have to scale them a little bit,... I forgot...
edit: so, here you are. Please give me some feedback!
7 - bad focus
6,3 - just normal clicks ... nothing special ... on 3rd You should make use of this running couple ... play a little with DOF
4 - make it a little brighter
5... just a photo ...
And about all of them - just normal photos, there is no story in them ... just basic "clicks" of some objects
thanks.
what do you mean with DOF?
Nice shots...my favourite is no.6 (brilliant reflections!!!)
I agree, the last shot might need to be refocused (bird is out of focus).

yeah, thanks!
I also like No. 6, it's my favourite.
Well from the last set of photos I like the first one and one before the last photo. Both photos look great and bright. Bird is out focused in last photo.
nc pics i reckon that your a natural. i specially like the clock tower one
Nice work!
Coming back to the lighthouse picture, I like the "vintage" air but I think you should try to find a way to keep the fog, which seems absent in final picture though it could contribute to the atmosphere.
Keep posting!
