Um...........what sort of tips are you wanting?
Like how do you learn this stuff? The proper way to structure/organize it? The best way to get your name out as a designer? Neat little things to do with the different languages? Saying you want tips, and just giving us a list of things to tip about could get you anything. Be more specific.

If you're into magazines, check out Layers Magazine. They have fantastic tips on all Adobe products like Flash. Tutorials too. I'd get the magazine, too.

As far as tips on php and mysql, my tip is to learn them. I haven't gotten too much into it myself, but hope to soon.

Good luck with your learning!

Tips eh? I don't think any of us know what you want tips about, these are very broad topics and I don't have a php/mysql tips database of my own that I just write down when I think hey this might be a php mysql tip for someone.

I work in flash, for both web development and flash games. So id be happy to give you some tips, but you need to give a little bit more information first. As just saying "tips for flash" is a little generic. If your looking for some easy to use tutorials and help. check out http://www.flashkit.com thats my fav site for flash help and tuts. Any other questions just post here and ill see If i can help you out.

On a quick side note: Im not that |great| at php, but i do know how to make flash and php work together, such as making a login screen, or member data from flash to a database using php, all that kind of info I know (very basic at which, but know it none the less) so if you have any questions about php working with flash, ask that as well.

Uh, just tips, ok.

Tip #1: Content drives design. This means that whatever content you have should come first (and be developed first) and then design the website around that content.

Tip #2: Separate Content, design, and functionality. HTML is for content, CSS is for Design, Javascript is for functions.

Tip #3: Build websites for people, not search engines. Google et al. are always trying to make their Search Results give people what they want. It makes no sense to make a website to simply rank high in Google.

Tip #4: Solve your visitor's problems. A website exists to solve problems. Make sure you do that.

Tip #5: Ctrl-C is copy, Ctrl-V is paste. If you have some code you want to copy, highlight and push ctrl-c. To paste it in a new place, hit ctrl-v.

Tip #6: CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets.

Tip #7: Tips are worthless if you don't have a plan. You need a goal and some basic skills to get where you want to go. Just having tips won't do anything for you. Tips are for when you already know a program, process, or whatever and want to do it better. Tips have very little purpose outside of the extremely small amount of information they contain.
