Russia Back-to-Back World Champion of Ice Hockey

Russia has now won the gold medal for the international Ice Hockey Championships back-to-back, two times in a row. They played Canada in both gold matches. Russian player Ilya Kovalchuk was MVP of the championship.

And now Russia has 25 titles to Canada's 24, as well as taking over the number 1 spot in the IIHF world rankings....

Next year will be very interesting, with the Olympics in Vancouver, and also the Worlds in Germany.
