I feel that ulead video studio is a good software for all to use when editing video. They have the transition like others and many many others. You should try it out. Download the trail and buy it if you like it.

I have used both version 9 and 11 its is slow depending on your PC spec but still one of the best

nothing is better than premiere though. if u r a hardcore video editor, u would realise that too. ulead and others have many many limitations.
premiere is so far the best and with so many add ons in the market, it even makes it better. Ulead on the other hand is easy to handle and good for newbies
