Which is better Nvu or Kompozer?

I've been using FrontPage software for many years, and FrontPage is of course coming to an end. Some Webhosts are already stopping FrontPage Extensions so of course that means the end of FrontPage for me completely.

I'm looking at Nvu and Kompozer for alternative software. Which of the two is the better one to use in your experience? And would I be able to import existing FrontPage Websites?

i don't know much about frontpage entensions, but i heard it's some kind of server side stuff like perl/php, so it doesn't matter what html composer you use, it has nothing to do with what's installed in the server.

anyway, if i were you, i wouldn't go fot Nvu or Kompozer. since you are so used to frontpage, why not upgrade yourself to Expression Web 2?

Or if you are after free software, go with something like MS Visual Web Developer Express, or Amaya from the W3C.

Best is Macromedia Dreamweaver with joomla kit... it helps to break the css file in class modules and makes the visibility clean.

Kompozer is basically just a bugfix of nvu, so if you were to decide between the two, Kompozer is better. However, as others have said, there are better options.
