Striking truth about human life

Cddhesh
Some days back i read one article describing modern human life. There was a sentence "Man lives life in very funny way, First he works anyhow making day and night equal to gain money without taking care of himself, losing his health and then Man spends this money afterwords to gain health".After reading this sentence my brain told me that i m doing same thing. and along with me almost everyone is doing same.My eyes just opened out.

I remember my college days when i used to have just a bread or fast sandwich and patties as a lunch when i was going for tutions from college. That too we all use to do to get good marks and to get some good degree and so to get good job and very bad thing is still i am doing same thing being on good job, not taking care of health Sad , every one (my senior people) says common you are young, you can do late stay and cover much work.

Many thoughts came across as i was reading that article.Things are turning out very abnormal these days.Climate has totally changed.Along with new new inventions, People are getting new new diseases. Smile .In direct or indirect way we are responsible for all this. Directly or indirectly we are digging land for our own funeral. With the gun that we have invented we are aiming to our self indirectly. Even if you stop it others will not stop. It looks like our bad days are coming closer. God knows where we will be landing . Lets at least plant one tree and contribute.

Laughing Laughing A good one. But since humans aren't static in number probably would require at least 1-billion to make a meaningful difference. Especially since while we are planting trees, we may just as well save all the other threatened species (except for crocodiles) and get a little bit of balance in the ecosystem. May even get the global warming to go into remission :>) Good thinking! Laughing
Insanity
It might also depend on which humans you kill... I mean killing someone living in a developing country like China probably wouldn't do as much to help the environment as someone living in the United States, where electricity and cars reign supreme. Also it would depend if you're killing a liberal or conservative.

Probably better to go for greater balance. Although another factor could be that those in developing countries may tend to multiply faster, also are less aware of need for environmental conservation. Population growth seems to be more under control where people are well educated.

Intelligent people must create ideas on how to solve these problems of human beings.

Well that's exactly the problem. Where are the intelligent people? Not running our countries, obviously, nor being able to take crucial decisions about implementing ideas. You see, ideas on how to solve humankind problems are contrary to the current trend of affairs, and don't appeal to anyone in a position to make a change.

Is there any money to be had in saving the world? No. If you create a product, let's say a car engine, that ran clean and didn't break down for 200 years, what would the motivation be for the auto industry to produce it?
In todays world, the money is in destruction, disposability, and repair. Money is the beginning and end of the equation. It has to be cheap to produce, earn high profits, and be replaceable and/or repairable in the near future in order for any company to want to produce it. That goes for everything from grocery bags to vehicles to power plants. It's the merchant class at their absolute best. Or worst, depending on how you view the money handlers. I take a sort of Musashi view on the merchant class; they produce nothing, get rich from other peoples' work, and cheapen everything they touch. They are also necessary. Even more necessary is to keep them in their place, which is not at the top of the socio-economic ladder. The merchants should be below the craftsmen and artisans, below the military, below the educators, and only slightly above the beggars.

the military,

That's exactly what you could do with the perfect engine you mention. If you were the one who invented it, just market it to the military. If it's as good as claimed, the military will buy it in no time: They're all about saving money (on repairs, vehicle maintenance staff, and gas), and vehicles (and generators) that use less gas mean that fewer extremely vulnerable fuel convoys need to be sent through hostile territory. Also, safety is a big concern in the military; if these engines never broke down, they could be used to make planes safer (fewer engine failures).
After a few huge defense contracts, you'll have enough money to effectively market the miracle engine to the public yourself.

Yeah I thought about that, and the military is about the only place you could market a product that doesn't have failure built into it's design.
