www.dot.tk has free .tk domain plus email it also has a "ambassador" program which you can earn a paid domain or thing with your website name on them
Free .tk domain and email
Is it ad free?
My understanding of .tk websites is that you should already have a domain; the .tk website just makes it shorter... if that makes sense to you
In other words, if you had a website that was something crazy like iekd8kwsja.aoldhs.com...
You could go to their website and sign up so that people can go to website.tk and be forwarded to your actual website...
Ermm.. :]

fineshine06 is right, you can make something from, say, froginabox.frih.org to froginabox.tk (if you can't afford froginabox.com).
Or you could goto http://ovh.co.uk and get a free co.uk domain
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you must purchase a service from the site in order to get your
"free" domain name.
"free" domain name.

This to me?
If it is, just click on "gold" then "no hosting" and then it's free
Oh sweet. I was trying to figure that out, thanks!
Hmm I'm really not a fan of .tk domains. I prefer to do some incentives in Namepros forum and buy a TLD domain name like .com or .info
this is old man
Tried .tk domains a while ago. Wasn't a fan really. Found that - this may have changed since - they show a page that redirects to your actual hosted page, and the redirect page is covered with ads.
If that is my memory serving me correctly, yeah, I wasn't too impressed.

I thought dot tk are nice when i tried for the first time. I don't think they show ads now but i am not too much happy with them now as one cannot add a site like www.sth.tk/category in the google. I think that google also fails to catch the content of the web page as it is simple a frame of the original website.
