WIN 32 generic host error

does anyone knows about the error win 32 generic host
this problem occurs in windowns xp sp3 and when i run bitdeffender internet security
i thought this error is a virus but i got to know recently its an bug in sp2 someone says sp3 also has the same error
soes anyone knows what this error about and whats the solution
