I've DMed a freeform forum roleplay before. It was kinda fun, but nobody at that forum was too interested and it just went so slow and then kind of stopped.

This is an amazingly refreshing perspective. How does the idiom go? . . . No good deed goes unpunished. Personally I think the concept is paramount to genius. Who do you think Bondings is?
