While I am not a huge fan of The Cat Empire you have to give it to them for getting a crowd going! The Womadelaide punters LOVED this show, the crowd at the front going absolutely nuts!! Crowd surfing to The Cat Empire is interesting to watch. There's something about that horn section that drove these kids wild!
Photographically, these were a challenge to shoot as the stage was pretty damn high (thankfully I am tall!) and the light during the first three songs was that odd just-before-sunset light.
