First time shooting a dance performance and it was none other than the Australian Dance Theatre! What an opportunity!! Aside from the hecklers in the crowd yelling at the photogs to move, I think it went well. (It was advertised as a "seated" performance - I think the idea of 10 photogs blatantly standing and blocking their seated view was not going down so well!)
How does the "3 songs, no flash" rule apply to a dance performance?
It didn't matter because in no time the bouncers were escorting us out (possibly to keep the hecklers calm?)
