When I boutght my Garmin Nuvi last November, I installed some software on my laptop to help itperform some updates.How often are you suppose to update the software that the Garmin nuvi 200 comes with?

I'd probably say about every month if it updates the maps as well (if this is a GPS). If it doesn't update the maps, then I'd say maybe every 3 months or so to get new features and stuff.
That's my opinion though, but usually if something needs updating I do it right away. Tony The Tiger
I have forgotten the name of the updater program and am now unable to update. I thought I had installed it and now can not find it. I guess I will have to call Garmin directly or something. Related topics
