[solved] Lock on demand with XP home? How?

ocalhoun
So, I recently installed XP home edition on a computer.

I have it set up so that the screensaver requires a password, and when I am prompted for a password, it is with the windows 'this computer has been locked by ..." dialog.

But, I can't find any way to make it lock on demand, like my linux and vista machines can. To lock it, I have to simply wait for the screensaver to start.

So, is there some setting I don't know about to enable a lock screen button somewhere? Or, perhaps could I make a simple program that locks the screen when I click on a shortcut? Or, perhaps there is 3rd party software that can enable this option...

Ideas?

Does WIN+L (WIN = windows key) work?

If not (it may be disabled on home I suppose) then you can make a shortcut to:
%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation
and it will kick in.

Cool

Both work.
They bring up the logon screen as if I had clicked on 'switch user', but that's perfectly adequate!
Thanks!
