Stuff you use or see on an everyday basis, shot at different angles and mostly from a very close distance - you won't believe how weird they will look!
This is quite a popular forum game, where you need to guess what's on the picture.
The catch is that I photograph only a small part of the object. Guess what the object is, and win the round.
I never edit the pictures, apart from cropping and reducing the size, because I use a 7MP camera.
Rules
The whole game is divided into rounds.
Each round is divided into three parts.
Everyone has only one guess per part, and one request for a clue per part.
Guessed right? We're moving to the next round, and you get FRIH$!
Guessed wrong? Sorry, wait for the next part!
You can also ask for a clue. After three such requests, I will take a better picture of the object, thus moving to the next part of the current round.

Since this is quite hard, I've changed the rules a little bit. You can guess one time per part and request a clue each part Damn, I thought I was going to get two in a row.

OK, I'll help you out a bit more... I bought two of those, they sell them as a pair.
Also, you usually use two of them together for a usual task in the kitchen (which without them isn't very "comfortable"), related to cooking (not baking though). Now combine that with the other clues, and you should be able to figure it out. Simply wild guess here, might be stupid but whatever.
If you sell them as a pair, then one is for the bottom of something and one is for the top. Perhaps for baking something. The plastic part on the side is to hold them together?

ooh.. another blooper! anyway, ah.. helios, until you get any new inspiration, could you give the full image of the hairband thing.. I'm a bit confused as to how it is a hairband....It's a black hair band (in some places they call it hair rubber) with a metal thingy that makes it a loop. It's very similar to the black one here: http://www.fancypocket.sg/images/P/703893P.jpg
