Obviously it will be/is the job you think you'll enjoy/enjoying the most compared to other jobs, and not always the job which pays the most and/or relatively easy.
I love my job for example, and I wouldn't trade it for anything else. Of course, I can always change my mind, then my current job won't feel like it's the best in the world.
what about.. ah.... video game tester?!! you get paid loads! and you have to do the thing you love the most!

What company are you talking about? That job pays s**t. I know some guys that do that and it doesn't pay much at all, and they are with top companies.
It's still a great job, if you like video games and don't have much expenses.

If I had the brains for it, I think the best job in the world would be a physicist. It seems to be a world of infinite possibilities and when they open up, I can imagine it must be some of the most exciting experiences anyone could have.

That's what came to my mind when I first saw the title of this thread. Obviously there might be something else that's better (such as an intergalactic bounty hunter 
) but that would be an amazing job.
Besides that, it really will vary. As long as you're doing what you like and getting rewarded for it. Sadly though, every job that comes to mind to me is futuristic. Perhaps a job in developing new, futuristic, technology with an unlimited budget? That would be awesome.
Undersea welder.
Im only a normal welder, but am looking at getting my diving certs later this year.
The reason being you work up to a girl in a bar, and tell her you are an undersea welder - that scores even higher than firefighter or rockstar. You are guranteed pick of any woman you want.
Also, undersea welders only work 6 months a year, and get a huge salary.

Right oh, my serious reply would simply be professional video game/software developer. Creating your own AI's and seeing your own creations come alive is just effin sweet.

Strangely, that reminds me of a job I had half a lifetime ago. I manufactured womens lingerie in a factory. Sadly, there weren't any models there to work with.
Depends on what you mean by "best job". If you mean money wise... err, lawyer, doing something in the IT field.. a doctor maybe..
If you mean by "funnest job" or something you'd like to do... then thats a matter of personal preference. For me it would have to be a Whitehat Hacker or Programmer. I'm into security and programming, and i just love it. Not sure what wages are, but hey, it's what i like.

The best job in the world could not be defined.
According to me best job for one person may be the worst job for another. Generally you find others job better than yours.
So in short "The best job in the world is the job you have got" or "If you are pleased with what ever you are doing then that is also a best job in the world"

It's clearly a personal choice, but for me I'm doing the best job in the world right now. I'm a writer.
I get up when I want, work when I want, go to bed when I want, go out when I want, write about what I want, travel, meet people, and just bang the keyboard a bit now and then when I need to pay a bill or eat.
I don't even own an alarm clock.

The best job is any job that makes you feel good while you’re working and leaves you enough free time to live your personal life.
Carrier is not everything in life, even if you have the job of your dreams, if you spend whole day working and you don’t have some time to spend time with friends… what is the point of earning the money and not having time to spend it and enjoy.

Agreed. It doesn't pay that much. Here in my city it pays about 11$ an hour on a top company (CAD money). And they call my city the capital of video games...
And it's not so funny, you need to look at every corner of the game to see some bugs / glitches you don't really "Play" like if you were at your home.
I always dreamed about doing that, when I started I realised that it wasn't so funny!
Videogame designer. Period.
I would probably say.... a butcher (unless you're a vegetarian). You can eat meat whole days long!!!!

that job what you can do at home, going out for to have what you want like good moments... i mean, ok i fished my work for now, and i think should be great take my basketball's ball and go to the park play some... whatever you do in your own time and control i think is the best job... i dont have it yet, maybe some day...

There's a guy who has to re-arrange the bikkinis of bikkini models that I read in the newspaper once it showed a few pictures as well...and that's his job - lucky guy!
