eRepublik is a massive online social strategy game.
Its a game that involves you in politics yet also is heavily reliant on a forum to discuss various strategies and generally socialise. You join a country, can get a job to earn money and buy various things. You can run for congress and even become country president although you need to be able to become involved in politics. You can even create your own company and employ other citizens who work for you and help you expand your company.
There are several wars between certain countries so if you join the army you can fight in them and generally try it for a week and you should get really into it, due to the people you meet and other aspects of the game.
For me I love the media aspect of the game. Creating my own newspaper and getting my own views across. People that like your newspaper subscribe to it and the more subscribers you get the better.
Seriously if you like the sound of it now, try it for a week and you'll either think its boring or brilliant! (most probably brilliant).
