Hi, i am new here.

I know the basics of css, html and xhtml. Now I wont to make a website with a picture made by myself on top of the page, were can I learn this?

Can you folks help me?

I assume, because you mentioned that you know the basics of HTML, that you know how to include an image (<img src="yourimage.gif" />)So, all that leaves is the process of creating the image. To do so you must use a graphics editor. Whether it be Adobe Photoshop ($556.99 USD) or Microsoft Paint (Included with every copy of windows [Program Files>Accessories>Paint]) Though, if you would like a better, free alternative to Paint, Paint.NET is nice (search for it on google)

After this, it is just the process of creating images. The more you make, the better you get, just like anything. Sorry, there isn't really anything else specific I can tell you. Post if you have more questions.

HTML and that stuff won't help you a bit in making the image. To make it, you need an image editor. I suggest Photoshop, but if you are broke like me, get www.gimp.org its not nearly as good as Photoshop, but it works.

Read a few tutorials on the GIMP, get good at it, make the desired image.

Then to code the image onto your site, try something like this:
