Why can't I get Google Analytics to work with Blogger???!!!

Am I doing something wrong? I haven't had any trouble adding Google Analytics to my website. Why won't it work for my blog? I've tried installing it for each new post, for just the first post, putting it in the posting template, etc, etc. Google says its tracking info, but I get no report. The help pages aren't helping. Anyone had a similar problem?

you should only have one copy of the code. Any more might confuse google analytics. What has worked for me is to put it in a gadget. Go to the layout page, and at the bottom click on "add a gadget". Click on "HTML/ Javascript" which is currently the second one down. Edit this and paste in the tracker code. You should get info within a few days.

Short answer is not you not setting it up properly. First, check if you actually allow to (or need to) add google analytics in http://www.blogspot.com/

it's not that complicated...I got it right at the first try. Just follow the google anaylitics guide and wait up to 12 or 24 hours.

You the need to parse Javascript codes before pasting them to Blogger templates. Smile
