Routers

cleverclassic
I had no idea that there are routers with multiple phone ports. I have a friend who asked me to help him set it up for him. This thing is Linksys Homelink phoneline 10m cable/DSL router. It seemed kind of outdated, and I guess its a special use kind of thing, because its weird. This thing only has two RJ 45 ports. I guess that it can only connect to the modem and one computer. This thing has no antennas, so I guessed that is wasn't wireless. It does have 3 or phone regular phone cable ports. I did what the cd said to do, but I couldn't get into the internet. Can any one tell me what's the deal with those types of routers, how is it supposed to work? how can I configure it on Windows XP.
