Hi folks
just made this recently.
Modeled with Maya, detailed in ZBrush.
Textured with Photoshop.

that is pretty cool. So, how do you start out? do you start by taking a picture of an iguana and then turning it into vector art? or do you draw the iguana from scratch? I'm not a designer or a digital artist, so I don't know how this process goes. Just curious.
That's really cool. The colors are beautiful.
Thanks for the comments, folks

This particular one is a 3D textured model.....
I modeled the base mesh from scratch in Maya software.
Then the details were digitally sculpted using ZBrush, and normal maps extracted.
Finally the texturing was done using Photoshop and the rendering was back again in Maya.
Wow , its most excellent work.
I know nothing about digital art but I think its lots of hours by the PC.
Looks very well made.
I love the massive amount of detail you've added to the tree and the iguana
It looks really great.
How do you draw on a PC? Do you use a Light pen or do you use a laptop with touchscreen(stylus?). I am always amazed at digital art. Can you please give some pointers on how to start of digital art?
That's wonderful! It looks so real! The log that it is sitting on is unbelievably real! Somebody might just have a future in digital art.
Thanks for the comments, guys.
btw, this is a 3D textured model, and can be viewed from any angle.

Even what he has right now he has a very good chance at getting a career.
Thanks for the comments again, guys.
btw, forgot to mention........ I work as a 3D artist.
That is awesome man. I could only dream of doing something like that. It is hard to believe what is a rendered image or an actual photograph. I have no idea how long it takes to make something like that, but I'd imagine that it is pretty time consuming. I look forward to seeing more of your work. This one is truly amazing.
Wow. That looks really nice. I bet you love how everyone is asking the same question about how you did this...the one you've answered already.
I wish I could do things like this with modeling programs. But I can never get it to come out right.
Thanks again for your comments
I'd done this on and off...........for around 5 days.
must be somewhere around 30 hrs.
woah mad detail man. it must have taken you ages to complete. what software did u use? if its in your comment already im sorry, lol, coz i didnt read it.
Wow, that is enormously impressing!
The iguana is so cool. So does that iguana exist in the whole as a 3D model, so that you in the theory could make a 3D animation of it?
Sure, I don't have to say, but keep up the good work
Wow !! It's amazing and I like the textures. Awesome!

Nice to hear that.
I work for a CG movie production setup, and I am primarily into 3D modeling and texturing, with some lighting too.
Great work, the textures are awesome.
looks pretty good.. i like the detail of the skin
That is an amazing job. the detail of the skin in out of this world. keep up the good work!
The amount of detail of the model is huge and the texture is exotic and great too.

Well yes, most of the work was done with normal-mapping in ZB.
Guess I should've worked more on the Photoshop texturing part.
Thanks again for your comments, will try to improve in my future works.
I don't know if the problem is with my browser, but I can't see the picture.
