A.R. Rahman's music is note-worthy. I gained awareness of him when the Pussycat Dolls released their recording of "Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)".

I completely agree, A. Rahman is a notable composer. The Time magazine called him "Mozart of Madras". The film "Slumdog millionaire" owes a lot of credits to the music by Rahman.
My wife used to listen to the soundtrack from the film. Personally, I think the music is composed with a deep thought, however, I wouldn't listen to it more than a few times because it's too energetic for me. This can be compared to drinking strong coffee when you are not feeling sleepy. As per sharing, look at the live torrents and I'm certain you will find plenty in different formats. I know in some countries this is a sensitive issue though.  tony
I'm also an AR Rahman fan, and can say I listened to him before Slumdog (oh yeah!). But I must also say Slumdog contains his greatest work to date. Amazing stuff! I love Jai Ho and O Saya.
