One of my poems - what do you think of it?
What Can I See?
I look up and what can I see?
Meaningless dull shapes, drifting through the sky.
I look down and what can I see?
Blurred penumbral concrete, speeding straight by.
I look backwards and what can I see?
Indistinguishable towering buildings, holding me fast.
I look forwards and what can I see?
Only inevitable repetition, mirroring my past.
But wait, up ahead, what can I see?
An innocent figuration, held fast by routine.
I look at the figure, what can I see?
An indistinguishable match, that figure is me.
I look all around, what can I see?
A dimension of possibilities, expunging the reflections.
Yet before I can think, what can I see?
A revelation long delayed, only absence is left.
What do you think of it?
Its really good man.
