Ooh! Something in the UK that I would enjoy doing and can't do at home...

Inland waterways are now definitely on my list of things to do if I go there.

Nice Website. Thanks for the photos. Can just imagine it must have been brrrrrrr .... cold at that time. You must have been frozen along the way .... what did you do to keep warm Smile

Not a bad trip. I've done one similar before except that I did mine in Canada... You probably didn't have to worry about bears and wolves there...

I like how your trip had an urban type of feeling to it. It looks like the weather wasn't great, though

I've been on a couple long canoe trips up the Hudson River here in New York. It is probably the most tiring thing I've ever done, but still really fun. It's great looking for a place to camp at night in the middle of a severe thunderstorm in one of the widest parts of the river. Good times.

Nice!!! I specially like the second image of third day. Is beautiful.

We stopped in Skipton and had chips and a brew from "Bizzie Lizzies", made contact with a scooterist friend who took a few photos for us and arranged to get some tea and toast on for us in Silsden.

I love that places, is awesome! The plains and the horizon....

I jealous your adventure!!! And congratulations for your attitude with "Help for the heroes"

Wouldn't it be a lot less tiring to go on a trip down the river? ^.^

I only built the website & met them at the finish Cool
They're both British Army trained, so sleeping out in those conditions was pretty easy for them.
Tough blokes, both of them.

Some of the gangs of hooligan youth we have that lurk about in these remote inner-town areas would make the Grizzlies look like teddybears Very Happy
